a little ride

i got to taste a little bit of heaven today. a friend of mine took me for a ride in his porsche 944 s2. it's a 4 cylinder engine just like my car. but mine doesn't go quite as fast.
as we pulled out of the parking lot he tromped on the gas i could feel the g's kick in i was pushed back into mt seat. what a wonderful feeling!

its a very simple car, as it should be, its purpose is to get you from point a to point b quickly. even if point b happens to be around a few corners all the more enjoyable.

as we rounded one corner at who knows what speed, beleve me it was fast, the car just sits there no sway no lean no screech of tires. just performance! what a ride

looks a bit crouded in there if you ask me but i guess they like it!

and this is how it is mounted to the side of my house. they used to live in my house wich i didnt mind untill they started visiting us. did you know when a bat flies into your bedroom in the middle of the night its size increases exponentially! there wingspan easely becomes 8 feet!

THE NEW DIGGS

here are some pictures of my new shop. much smaller than my old one but hopefully they wont use it a a storage place now. these first three are taken from where the garage door is that white wallwith the clock and ac unit is my office.

boarderland state park 1

these two posts are in that state park i have talked about in the past. i go here about once a week prior to an appt. i have. it was cloudy this day altho it still brings me joy. but when its sunny i like it even more. belive it or not this is a pool. i think it has been filled in though because there are pictures of someone diving off a diving board that would have been mounted on those square blocks.

this is the mansion that i took pictures of before altho this is the back of it.
i guess someone liked to hunt. this is some some sort of porch that would be awsome to have i have another pic of it that actually shows the porch but another time.
this is the front of the mansion pritty much the same as before but i am much closer that last time i took pictures.

boarderland state park 2

quite the fire place! wouldn't mind seeing a fire there myself. not sure weather those are seats or the next sacrifice?
this must be the kids fireplace. its in the same building on the other side of the room.
this is called the boathouse altho i don't know why they would have such elaborate fireplaces in it.
this is the body of water that said boats would float upon. i forget its name its the lower something or other. the upper something or other would be behind the trees on the left.
this is the outlet from that pond. its running quite high here altho we had another big rain/snow storm so it should be even higher now!

this is a picture of the ames mansion, it is located in the state park i mentioned in one of my posts.
i didnt have alot of time so i couldnt get closer . i will take more at another time, it is a beautiful house
this is someplace i could live, well maybe if it was a little bigger!
